From October 25 through November 26, I will be challenging myself with the Whole30 in order to change my lifestyle and live a healthier life. Throughout those 30 days, I will be posting my daily progress, food, activities, mood, and sleep. This is more for my own personal accountability, but I would be more than happy for you to follow me on my journey or even try it yourself.

Sleep: 9.5 hours, maybe even 10. I was exhausted last night and got some good needed rest.
Activity: CrossFit Inland Valley WOD
Mood: Still feeling guilty about the other night. Was slow in my workout today too. I think my body is still recovering from the partying. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. The sugar cravings are back too. Stupid alcohol!
Breakfast: Hard-boiled egg and ostrich jerky
Snack: Dried apple slices– correction, they were pear slices.
Lunch: Ground turkey grilled with onions, jalapeño, and egg. Paleo mayo and Whole30-approved ketchup for dipping sauces.
Dinner: Shredded chicken with salsa, guacamole, and Cholula hot sauce
Of course today’s Whole30 Daily has to do with what to do in social situations, like parties. I was trying to figure out a plan before the party, but obviously didn’t come up with a great one. I had brought wine just in case I did decide to drink, but of course one thing led to another and the next thing you know I am ordering food at the Del Taco drive-thru window. I know now what to do for the next social situation I encounter though. I will be prepared with food, club soda, and willpower.
