The Whole30: Day 1

From October 25 through November 23, I will be challenging myself with the Whole30 in order to change my lifestyle and live a healthier life. Throughout those 30 days, I will be posting my daily progress, food, activities, mood, and sleep. This is more for my own personal accountability, but would be more than happy for you to follow me on my journey or even try it yourself.

Sleep: 5 to 6 hours. I couldn’t seem to fall asleep last night. Too much on my mind I think.

Activity: CrossFit Inland Valley WOD:

Mood: Felt a little sluggish this morning more than likely from lack of sleep. Felt great after my workout this afternoon. Never felt like I needed my routine afternoon nap I usually take around 2 p.m.

Food:

Breakfast: Two scrambled eggs with ground beef and fire roasted peppers cooked in lime juice and coconut aminos with basil

Snack: A banana

Lunch: Slow-cooked Ob-bone roast with onions and peppers and a baked yam

Snack: Celery with Justin’s almond butter

Dinner: None. Had a late lunch and am still pretty full.
